I have been talking about it for a long time, and thanks to my good friend Cody Beckner this site has finally switched over to Moveable Type.


I had always heard converting to MT was a big issue, but I really didn't realize what an undertaking it was until this evening.

Honestly it is not hard, it is just time consuming. I have spent the entire evening trying to get my head around everything and figuring out the best way to code all these templates. I think I finally have a fairly decent idea of what all is going on, but it will take me a few days (probably more with all I have going on) to get it all finished up. The only thing that has been converted so far is the posts themselves, and only 25 of them have been properly converted. So please bare with me as I finish up the transition.

So far I am very happy with everything. There were things I wanted to do with the old site that I kept putting off cause I had been waiting to make this switch. One of which was proper commenting, but other then that I have a few "bonus" features I plan on working in. I decided to go ahead and push it live so I could start on some of these features and so you all can start testing everything out for me. Think of it as a blog beta (and you all are invited) so when / if you find anything that is not looking right, functioning correctly, etc.. please leave me a comment.
