Since it is Christmas Eve and tomorrow will be spent with the family I wanted to go ahead and wish you all a Merry Christmas!


As a kid this was always my favorite time of year. It wasn't just Santa, it was a combination of everything, the tree, the lights, the change in the weather, people spirits, etc..

But for some reason this year it took me longer then usual to get into the Holiday spirit. Maybe it was because I never got around to putting up a tree, first time in 24 years. Maybe it was because I didn't do any shopping until the last minute, although that is pretty typical for me. Maybe it is because the older we get the more we loose touch with some things. Whatever it was it wasn't till this past week that Christmas, for me, really caught on. Since then I took the time out to go look at lights, go ice skating (well tried), started and finished my shopping, and really just took a few moments out to enjoy the season. Anyway I am glad I did and I hope you all had the chance to do the same.
