That is how long it has been since the last post. I am pretty sure most, if not all of you, have deleted me from your RSS feeds by now, if you haven't thanks for the confidence that one day I would return to post again. Hopefully over time I will win my way back into the hearts of your favorite aggregators!


So why the absence? Well after my last post, a good friend of mine dared / bet me that I couldn't go the rest of the year without posting. At first I honestly didn't think I was going to be able to do it. I had been blogging for the last few years and it was something that had become a habit - learn something new, experience something new, new product comes out, new event, new trip, etc.. open up the editor and post my thoughts / experiences on it. But I hate to loose at anything, so I decided to take her up on the offer. I will admit the first few months were a little odd, there were times when I wanted to post about this or that, but opted not to... although after a while it became something I just didn't think about. Don't get me wrong, I have always loved to post, but there was many other things going on in my life that it was kinda easy to continue to put it off.

Come the first of the year though I was itching to start posting again. Because of a few new things I had started up I wanted to find an outlet to let people know about them, but to keep from loosing the bet I continued to hold off. When I finally was able to post, I just didn't have the time (funny how it works out like that). I had stuff I wanted to mention, but wanted to go ahead and put a new face on the site since it hadn't received an update in over a year. I have been wanting to switch to WordPress, so figured this would be prefect timing for that as well. So alas I continued to hold off.

Well with the new things I have taken on, more about this in a later post, I am not 100% sure when I will have the time I need to devote to fully redesigning this site, so instead of continuing to wait any longer I have opted to use a WordPress theme, Hemingway, for the time being. All in all I think this is a great theme, I plan on making a few adjustments to it (when I have time), but really I was just ready to write again! So without any further explanation I am back. I will be posting here and there about some of the new things I have going on, about industry news, stuff I deal with daily designing and developing for the web, desktop, and mobile devices, and also posting things that I want to archive for my own personal use. I doubt I will be back to the daily posting like I once had (at least not anytime soon).... but then again who knows how things will go!

As I mentioned the site cms / skin is relativity new, so please let me know if you run into any problems.
