After spending almost the entire year running on the WordPress platform I decided to switch back to MoveableType today.

While I think WordPress is a great publishing platform, it is much easier for me to skin / work within MoveableType. Maybe it is because MoveableType has been the backbone of this site for the majority of it's life. Plus with the newest release of Moveable Type (4.1 currently in beta) most of my grips about it have been resolved (or are in the works to be resolved).

So aside from this new skin (which is a combination of one of my older designers, and the WordPress theme I was using), you will also this site also have a lot more navigation. Above there are links to Ramblings (which is where I just write about this, that, and the other... basically like this post), Articles (which is new, or semi-new, here I plan to begin to post articles I write on Design, Mobile, Web, and Desktop technologies), Inspire (where I will begin posting links to quality sites I deem worthy of inspiration (who am I to judge right?), Events (pretty much as the title suggest - events going on), and Elsewhere (where I will post all links of interest to other sites).

For now I only have the main RSS feed setup, but plan on working on creating separate feeds so you can subscribe to only what matters to you. Below are sub categories that will help better organize the content within all of the main categories. I have started to convert all of my old posts to fit within this new IA, but it is going to take some time so using the search box on the right may be the quickest way to some content (ill be working on this as quickly as I can).

Otherwise I hope you like the design, and I hope that the site turns into a source of reference for you in the future.
